when i was leaving to go overseas for the first time it was a few months before my 21st birthday so i got my present early.my dad made me this big leather bound book and my name was embossed in gold on the front.when i opened it up it was like a journal of my life.he had put a picture of when i was a baby and coz hes an artist he had painted a rose next to my picture.then on the next page he had written me a letter saying how proud he is of me and all kinds of nice things.then throughtout the book he had asked all my brothers and sisters and even my mum (theyre divorced) to all write me a letter.all my nieces and nephews had drawn me pictures and then also scattered throughout the book was photos of all my family members and me.the rest was left blank and he told me to continue with my life story.he also gave me a necklace with saint christopher on it who is the paitron saint for travellers and told me to stay safe.i love sentimentle things like that and it was the best gift i ever got!

My son came to visit me in Florida one spring break. He brought a couple of friends with him and they all camped on my living room floor while they enjoyed the festivities of spring break. Every afternoon, they would get sober long enough to make it to the dinner table. I fixed them the meal of their choice. Nothing to fancy usually, biscuits and gravy or fried chicken. Those kids ate like it was the last day on earth! Since I was a kid in the 70's, I have been a big fan of Scooby-Do. This is a fascination my children do not understand as they grew up in the day of Transformers. On the last day of their stay, they presented me with a plush Scooby-Do dressed in a chefs' coat and hat! They were all so grateful to eat home cooked meals after being at college for a year. They hugged and thanked me even though I'd never met two of them before. I'd never felt that appreciated before and have never received such as precious a gift since.

I have been given my ultimate ever modern-day while i became in reformatory, i became rather screwed up on the time, dealing with a coarse patch, I had a particular buddy in there, in spite of the fact that i've got been given her a modern-day, (From the reformatory shop) I didnt anticipate one decrease back as she had no funds, yet christmas morning she got here into my cellular and supply me a modern-day wrapped up in lavatory paper (clean) and once I opened it, she had painted me a image, she had spent a protracted time on it and used coffee powder and water, it became rather good it had a sepia consequence. It might desire to have took an excellent style of attempt because of the fact she had no longer something in her cellular, so i dont be attentive to the place she have been given the annoying board (the stuff she'd painted it on) from as she became on punishment on the time. and for her to locate an option to color, became remarkable. It rather meant lots to me in there. Christmas out right here is only too comercialised. In there issues surely recommend some thing once you recieve a modern-day.

My oldest daughter had an assignment in her photography class called "Make Mom Cry". So she found got a bunch of photos of her growing up with a couple of the two of us at special functions and one of my late grandma and made a colage. It makes me cry happy tears just thinking of it. The two of us have weathered many storms together in her life time.
