Have her take a regular Aleve and a pseudophed. That is the same thing. You have to get the pseudophed behind the counter now (at least in Illinois). Its no longer on the shelves, but the at the pharmacy.

I personally know of several medications made by a company in Idaho Falls Idaho called Melaleuca, Inc.
Melaleuca makes an allergy medication called CounterAct Allergy that is a non-drowsy formula and works very well for me and my family. They also make CounterAct Day and CounterAct Night which help the cold and flu symptoms as well as CounterAct Cough medication. Melaleuca also manufactures naturally based and organically derived home and personal hygene products as well as patented nutraceuticals (plant based
pharmaceutical supplements) which have saved both my husbands and my life. (My husband had Congestive Heart Failure after a 6-way heart by-pass and had some bad reactions to the medications like Lipitor and others given to him by his Dr.
When he started taking the Provex CV (for heart health) his health improved 100% and his doctors are quite impressed. I also have a chronic illness and these are the only products that I have found to work consistantly with no side effects whatsoever.)
Melaleuca is like a Sams or Costco in that it is a buyers club and the One time membership cost is $29.00, but they will give you that $29.00 back in the form of products next month (November)
if you begin shopping there this month. If you check out the www.Melaleuca.com website you will see a sku# $X.XX (x.xxpc xpts) the price you pay as their customer is in the Parenthesis-pc stands for preferred customer and the pts is their international currency conversion rate. They have various promotions but you can cancel your membership and even return the empty bottles for a full refund after 60 days. I truly believe that this is a life-altering company and recommend it highly.

Yeah, they've buckled down on that, for sure. I just go to the drugstore. They still have it on the shelves here in SC, but you still have to sign for it. Aleve C&S is really good. I started using it by accident when I caught a sale and bought some.

Frankly the best cure for a cold is.... wait for it..... Ginger and Lemon!! Get root ginger.... grate it...(like cheese) then squeeze the oil into a large plastic bowl! Next get a lemon and squeeze the juice out of it into the bowl with your ginger..... then fill with about 300ml boiling water! Steam face (towel over the head.... deeeeep breaths)
Then go to bed and snuggle up with some easy tunes on the beatbox!.... socks on!.... and drink plenty of water!
Alternitively... rub her back, chest and neck with Tiger Balm.... it's good melted in hot water too!

Claritin works for my allergies.. clears my sinuses and fends off an attack. If the product was helpful to you, by all means, take the time to ask for it. Once they have your ID, the next purchase should not be a problem. Lot's of luck in your search.
