Absolutely. I wonder if anyone who doesn't would feel differently if it was their child or mother or sibling, ect who was hurt by one of these worthless pieces of ****.

This is a difficult question to answer, but last night I did in fact make the comment "I do believe in the Death Penalty" Due to a recent assault in my neighborhood, involving a young girl I strongly feel sex crimes deserve nothing less. These people can not be rehabilitated to live in a community. Like a drug, they will always have the addiction. And it's the innocent, they take down with them. Before I go off in a tangent, THAT IS A (YES) for me.

People who, among other things:
believe it is a detterrent in crime,
believe it to be a better solution than rehabilitating a person,
believe it is the only solution to some criminals,
are politicians who want to seem tough on crime,
believe it to be an act of self-defense for the state (or the people),
do not know the actual higher cost of processing the death penalty than life imprisonment.

I do, in general, but not the way it is currently used. In my view, execution should be for those individuals who can not possibly contribute to society enough to make up for the damage they have\will cause. This would mostly mean the un-rehabilitatable, but would also include degenerates who's crimes were so heinous that they could not be atoned for, i.e. violent child molesters and the like.

I do. Sex offenders, rapists, murderers, and the such should face this, in most cases. Some are very disearving of the death penalty.

If there is absolute guilt then I agree hands down. There are to many appeals so called rights. If you kill a man in cold blood then you deserve to die the same way. I think the only right you have is to die now !! It is not fair to live a lifetime in jail. That is cruel. Kill them now and save my tax dollars.

I DO!!!!! i believe the punishment should always fit the crime...a life for a life...a hand for stealing, private parts for rape or child molesting, overdose for drug use...etc....
