There are not enough Green Party members & not enough Green Party supporters for them to ever win.

But I think that if another powerful party besides the Reps & Dems was created....it would gain support of the people because many are sick of the same blueblood, rich, corporate people looking out for themselves & leaving everyone else in the dust....

unfortunately the Green Party doesn't have the support to pull that off.

They have no real views. The Green Party is funded by the Republican Party to siphon votes away from Democratic Candidates. If you want proof of this check out what's going on in the U.S. Senate race in Pennsylvania. Bob Casey the Democratic anti-abortion candidate is part of that race.

It is difficult for enough ppl to support a 1 issue party. The only issue w/ greens is the environment.

I find they are much like the Democratic Party views. They are a little more extreme in their views though. They are anti-war, anti-abortion, and pro-life even with the death penalty. I wish them luck in future elections.

I think someone needs to look at what we are doing to our planet. They don't win because they don't have the money to buy the office like democrats & republicans....

I agree with fitforlife. They don't have enough idealism to enchant the nation, but their influence would be great in the cabinet. We need their values, but not their leadership.
