It is reruns. Oz went off the air about 5-6 years ago. But it is one of the best shows EVER on television, without a doubt. My favorite characters were Beecher, Adebisi, Sister Mike (?) (Rita Moreno), and of course, Schillinger. I not only didn't miss an episode, I used to tape it each Sunday night, take the tape to work on Monday, and it would go around the office until Friday, when it was returned to me for taping again on Sunday. Great show!! (But not for the squeamish)

Yeah, another Oz fan! I thought it was a really cool programme & quite radical for an American TV show what with all the ultra-violence (there were more murders in the prison than outside the walls!), swearing and gay sex. And it had a real black sense of humour, too. It just seemed to stop on Channel 4 and i can't find any DVD box sets of it. Schillinger was a real nasty (& nazi!) piece of work. C'mon Channel 4, get yer finger out & get it back on the small screen!

Yes!! I miss watching that great show however, a lot of the actors are now on regular TV. It is after all the actors that make a series.

That series was amazing. I hated the fact that it stopped.
It had great story lines. I loved how the female doctor fell in love with the prisoner.
