I think the people who are saying he is bad don't know what the hell they are talking about. It's as if Hair_of_the_Dog just looked up stats and tried to find some random guy with better stats than Rivers. I mean, Damon Huard? The guys a veteran quarterback, he's been in the league for six years. Rivers just started his fourth game! If people actually watched football instead of just looking at stats and ranting about it, they'd know just how good the kids playing. I totally agree with you, I've never seen a young QB come out and make smarter decisions with the football. From watching the games I know that Rivers had the handcuffs on for the first three games, which is why his yardage stat is so low. I also know that the interception against the Steelers was Eric Parkers fault, not Rivers, that ball was thrown perfectly. His other interception came against Baltimore, everyone throws interceptions against Baltimore. As far as comparing him to Brees? I was one of the people in SD who were mad when they let Brees go. But after watching Rivers play, I've realized that they made the right choice. Brees isn't getting any better, he will never be more than "just a guy", Rivers has the potential to be great. Anyone who expects him to be doing better in just his fourth start is a moron and doesn't know d!ck about football.

Phillip Rivers is so bad it’s not even funny. Do you realize that Damon Huard has thrown less passes for more yards and with more completion then Rivers. Just because he can hand the ball off to the best Running back in the game doesn’t make him an awesome quarterback. Lets see what happens when he actually has to win a game, and if I know anything if he’s a Wolf pack he’s going to suck anyway cause I don’t think anyone form that school is any good in football.
His QB rating is 94.5 with only 730 yard passing and 2 INT where Brees has a 91.8 rating with 1240 yards and 2 INT. I rather have the 1240 yards over the 730yards any day of the week
He's actually 5th in the AFC Charle Batch who has played just one game has a higher rating

Rivers (bear in mind that's his first finished season as a starter, and he had the fourth ultimate QB score) he's likewise youthful and nevertheless gaining understanding of, he is going to be in a classification with Manning and Brady. Portis this one year became a fluke, he became hampred via injuries all season long, and it confirmed on his statline, he would be decrease back to style next one year working for 1300 plus and a few TD's Walker, he did an magnificent activity this one year, after bouncing decrease back from his harm, and next one year he will have a correct Jay Cutler throwing the ball to him (cutler would be in his 2d one year, and could be lots extra powerful, and is extra precise than plummer ok Jones is fourth on my checklist, because of the fact he keeps to be hampered via injuries, reminding me of yet another RB Fred Taylor, super fantasy decrease back, if he can stay wholesome. additionally the Lions ought to be attempting to draft a much bigger decrease back as a result. And that ought to signify splitting incorporates

Rivers looked pretty good against Pittsburgh but that is one game and you are already putting a 'great' tag on him? We'll see how the rest of this season goes and beyond. Until then cheer for your team but take a healthy dose of reality along the way.

San Diego let him go because they couldn't afford him; besides, they need to use Phil Rivers because they paid so much for him.

And Drew felt it was time to move on to see about an SB ring with another team.

Phil is getting there. It will take a little time for him to "get in his zone" so to speak.

He is as good as a team can be. Wait when LT is gone. We'll see how good he is then. In the mean time, bash Breese all you want. As a Broncos fan, I'm more afraid of Breese than Rivers.

Well I surely don't not think, and won't probably
not for certain consider the great QB of all time
as being an isn't not QB. By now, I suspect you
have noted the excess negatives...I do not think
your use of English is correct. There, that is how
you do it. Only use one negative.
