No. When I lived in Alaska I would walk from the Hot Springs to my cabin in my flip flops during -25 degree weather. Only once did I have a problem when my flip flops stuck to the packed snow and I walked out of them much to my surprise.
Every winter during my High School years, my friends and I would wear what we called jap flaps(flip flops made in Japan). Someone came out with toe socks and we wore those sometimes with the flip flops.

It is totally not weird to wear flip flops in the cold weather! I love flip flops and wear them year round. If you are worried about having cold feet check these out

I don't think that is it totally out of the ordinary. I used to do it. I still do it. If your feet can stand the weather and you are comfortable then that is all that matters. As long as the flip flops match your outfit, I used to hate when people whore like black flip flops with a brown outfit. haha do whatever you want to do girl, no one can cramp your style.

Yeah and I would think your toes would be cold. I work right outside of Philadelphia PA and I see that all the time. And people wearing shorts when it's 20 degrees outside.

I wear flip flops year round, I live in FL but it does get cold here sometimes down to 30. I still wear them...so keep on! :)

Of course it is!!
I cant understand why people do it,
people say its comfortable but flip flops are only comfortable when its the correct temperature it seems as though people prefer to have gangrene toes for a fashion statement rather than going out and finding the perfect per of shoes for their outfit.

i think so....cuz what's the point in wearing a sweater and pants, with flop flops. you're keeping the rest of your body nice and warm, yet your toes are hanging out....and it's not good for your feet to be cold like that :)

some ppl say im crazy 4 it but i say who cares? i dont think its weird! i wear it bc its the most comfortable shoe!i wear flip flops and a hoody ALOT!

If you think that's wierd, you might think it even wierder that, one day, I wore no sweater with my dress, even though the wind was howling outside in the latter part of autumn.
Yes, we try really hard, don't we?

I'm pregnant and my feet are so swollen that the only shoes I own that still fit are my flip flops. So if wearing them is stupid.....I guess I'm stupid!!
