Standard essay format goes like this:
In first paragraph, your thesis statement and reasons: eg "In order to live a good life, I think one needs A, B, and C."
Paragraph 2 - explain why A is important for a good life.
Paragraph 3 - explain why B is important.
Paragraph 4 - explain why C is important.
Paragraph 5 - In conclusion, because of (summary A), (summary B), and (summary C), these things are important to have a good life.
