A person's "sun sign" is just a small portion of their personality. Their "lunar" and "ascendancy" have a lot to do with how compatible you will or will not be.
But, if you just want a best guess on "sun sign" only, I'd say Scorpio.

I'm also a bi female Cancer, the guy I get along with best (he's gay though) is a Scorpio, it's always funny because things online say we're 91 percent compatible. I find myself having huge yet short lived crushes on guys born in the fall, Virgos and Libras, although I've never had much in common compatibility wise, it was just attraction. I've had relationships with Saggittarius's that started out okay but ended up pretty bad. (one book said they end in confused disaster, and it was right) But I say that the most compatible sign without complications with you is people born in the Spring, such as Taurus and Aquarius. Most signs are known to have a bit of trouble with Cancer's emotions, including Cancers, so watch out for that.

Astrology doesn't work like that! There is never one sign that you are best with. Cancer (water sign) should look to other water signs (Scorpio, Pisces) or earth signs (Virgo, Capricorn, Taurus). You can go outside of that but chances are you just won't get along as well as you would with the above. If you love conflict, then choose an air sign or a fire sign.

In Cancerians, typically you have to also look at your Moon sign. Since Cancer is ruled by the moon, you reflect other people back to themselves, and you also are susceptible to the influences of your Moon sign. Check it out:
