Mydaughter, ex-husband and now new roommate are all Pisces and I am amazed at how self-centered they are and manipulative too! Can someone give me insight on this horrible sign?!

First of all Pisces is the most caring, unselfish sign in the zodiac. I think the reason you believe they are self centered is because when us Pisces actually want something for ourselves occassionally we go for it no matter what....(but this is rare because we ALWAYS put others first). So you may be miscontstruing that to be self-centered when in all actuality it is merely a need we wish to be filled. See Pisces is a very emotional sign...when we are hurting we need someone to hear us...it is what makes us feel better. We are very hard to understand, and yes at times frustrating. But you cannot take those times we DO want something for ourselves and use them as an example for all the time.....

Pisces are true blue dreamers. They might not have 2 nickels to rub together but they can pull any dream out of their pocket whenever they feel like it. This is why they seem so manipulative at times. Pisces like telling tall tales & even get caught up in their own stories most of the time, but they can't help it cause its in their being. They do not like being alone & will go to any legnth to keep from being by themselves. After all the sun shines on them so they think. If you don't believe them then ask them. There are good traits about Pisces too, but you didn't ask that question. Good luck.

I am a pisces and i am know where near self-centered. I am the person giving to everybody else and leave myself for last. Its funny others signs will call us self centered when we want to do something for ourselves just once and not others. And as far being lazy i think not. I am far from lazy and whiney. I love to work and i hardly ever complain. If i do its no more than anybody else.

I used to date a Pisces. He was funny, very romantic, but yes,,,a bit self-centered. It might have to do with his age--most men are mentally the equivalent of really little boys. If this sign doesn't work for you, then best move on!

I am Pisces and I don't think that I am self-centered. Well, that's my opinion. Maybe your sign is just not very compatible with Pisces. I think we Pisceans psycho-analyse a bit too much, that's the only bad thing we do.

Pisces are supposed to be the dreamers of the horoscope, they are supposed to be gentle, kind, considerate and generous and boy do they live off of that while being whiney, lazy, self obsessesed hypochondriacs. I think all astrology books are written by Pisceans. Why else would the description of the sign be so far off the reality.

I don't agree, I am pisces and often told that I think about other people more than I think about mysel. As far as I am aware, this is not one of the main characteristics of pisces, so I am really surprised, it must be a coincidence!!

I think it all has to do with personalities, upbringing, and what you are exposed to as a child, not a star in the sky that determines who u r, or how u act. Cause my sister is oices, and she is not at all the way you have described, and you could not have met a nicer person. She was kidnapped in 92, along with her sister-in-law and her daughter, cynthia, and if you go to my yahoo 360 page, you can read all about her. SHe was very, very nice and loving wonderful person who wanted to be a vet, and she had nothing but an open heart for anyone and everyone. She would give her last dime to anyone who needed it, and not even think to ask for it back, even if that person became a millionaire later in their life... I dont know what people you are around, but I think stars have nothing to do with it.
