I partied more when that song had been released, I was a teen then. In 1999, I was pregnant with my first son. (so, yes, I guess I did then too, just a different kind of party.)

No. The administrators at the college took all the garbage cans out of the dorm, because when the world ended, hiding in plastic garbage cans was going to save their lives.

yes, I helped organize a party in the middle of town in the small city where I lived and 2,000 people showed up. All kinds of different people came, black white, old young, poor and wealthy. We all welcomed the new century in together, side by side. I cried it was all so beautiful!
