When North Korea says they will take "physical punitive action" against anyone imposing sactions by considering them an 'act of war', do you believe they're being serious or just trying to rattle everyone's cage to get what they want?

I bet they are just trying to get what they want by talking big. But then again, Kim Jong IL seems like kind of a crazy dude.

Additionally, I think if the U.S. gives them what they want by not imposing the sanctions, that would be negotiation with terrorists, since they have threatened to actually retaliate with force. Sounds like a terrorist to me.

Therefore, the U.S. would be doing the right thing by continuing with the sanctions instead of letting terrorists boss us around.

"They" are serious, this is about honour, every one knows it including NKorea. If any of the parties involved want to escalate this it will happen. And NKorea is fine with that.

Its sad, all the people suffering over selfishness of world leaders. Admit once in a while that you just don't have a clue how to solve major problems and ask for help. Everyone want to help since everyone thinks they are already doing the best they can.

Oh, I take everything they say seriously, that little man wants more. He means what he says. I think he needs to take a good look at the size of the country, then make himself a new plan of action. Yet what he doesn't seem to understand that this big dog (USA) will bite if you rattle his cage.

North Korea is dirt poor and has nothing anyone wants.

The only thing they have going for them is their army and their nukes.

They are delusional enough to think that they can cow the US and others. Their strategy may work on most countries.

But if the USA did not back down to the USSR with its THOUSANDS OF NUCLEAR WEAPONS, what reasonable person thinks that the US would be afraid of North korea with its half dozen or so primitive weapons?

If they are delusional, they are dangerous. They have already displayed that they are not to be trusted to keep a promise.

they're intense approximately conserving their regime in place. If making threats with assure it, they're going to do it. actuality is even with the incontrovertible fact that that North Korea has no probability of taking over the West, or perhaps China, their closest best pal, won't decrease back them.

They have every right to defend their interests. We have gone to war with other countries over oil and money. Its not too unreasonable for them to go to war to maintain their survival and way of life.
