Recently we have been talkin about having another baby, but he wants to wait.which is ok but when we have sex he pulls out. Now iv'e heard that you can get pregnant if a guy pulls out. He doesn't want to use condoms...I mean if he doesnt want to have another baby now, then why is he pulling out.

Withdrawal

A man who performs withdrawal will pull his penis out of the vagina before he ejaculates.

How Withdrawal Works
Pregnancy cannot happen if sperm is kept out of the vagina.

How Well Withdrawal Works
Of every 100 women whose partners use withdrawal, 27 will become pregnant during the first year of typical use. Of every 100 women whose partners use withdrawal, four will become pregnant during the first year of perfect use.

Pre-ejaculate can pick up enough sperm left in the urethra from a previous ejaculation to cause pregnancy. Pregnancy is also possible if semen or pre-ejaculate is spilled on the vulva.

Withdrawal offers no protection against sexually transmitted infections. Latex or female condoms can reduce the risk of infection.

Advantage of Withdrawal can be used to prevent pregnancy when no other method is available. No medical or hormonal side effects no prescription necessary.

Who Can Use Withdrawal
Anyone can use withdrawal. Couples who have established great self-control, experience, and trust may use withdrawal more effectively. The men who use withdrawal must be able to know when they are reaching ejaculatory inevitability — the point in sexual excitement when ejaculation can no longer be stopped or postponed.

How Withdrawal is Used
The man withdraws his penis from the vagina before or when he feels he has reached ejaculatory inevitability — the point when ejaculation can no longer be stopped or postponed. He ejaculates outside the vagina, being careful that semen does not spill onto his partner's vulva.

Possible Disadvantages of Withdrawal

requires great self-control, experience, and trust

not for men who ejaculate prematurely

not for men who don't know when to pull out

not recommended for sexually inexperienced men

not recommended for teens

As far as birth control methods go "pulling out" is a really bad one. It has a very, very low rate of success in preventing pregnancy. If he really is against having another baby, you guys need to use another method of birth control. If he doesn't want to use condoms, which I can understand, then why don't you go on the pill or the patch or get an IUD or a diaphragm? Those methods of birth control are much, much more effective.

Being a guy, and having children myself. I understand where you are coming from. I had never heard of someone getting pregnant before ejaculation until i was with my wife. Most guys think of having an orgasm as a all at once things, and thus they pull out before it happens. But i have been told on many account of pre-ejaculation, sometimes called pre-c*m that actually happens when i guy doesn't realize it.

So it may be true you can still get pregnant, but he doesn't realize you can get pregnant before the actual climax.

Hope this helps.

I can tell you for a fact that you can get pregnant from pre ejaculation which happens when the man is inside doing the ded. Pulling out is not a good method of bc. My son was conceived that way I was 18 and didnt think it could happen either but he is now 5 and my little angel. Hope this helps.......

Explain to him that if he is just a little slow pulling out you can get pregnant. All it takes is just a very small amount of sperm left inside for it to happen. If he doesn`t want to wear a condom there are things you can take if that is in your belief. If not then tell him not to get upset if you do become pregnant.

why dont YOU tell him what happens when you pull out. He probably still assumes that you cannot get pregnant. both of you need to talk to a doctor because men are pretty ignorant when it comes to a womans body. so stop be hush hush and talk to him. the last thing you want is to become pregnant and he blames you for it

He is pulling out because he incorrectly thinks he can't get you pregnant if he pulls out before ejaculation. He is wrong. If you want him to use condoms, maybe you should get him literature from planned parenthood or some other organization.

I got pregnant with my first child using the "pulling out" method. So...seems to me like he is not really serious about waiting. Maybe ya'll should have another talk.

Does he understand that you can still get pregnant with him pulling out?
If he does understand that, and still won't use a condom, then he obviously is open to having another baby.
If he does not understand this, you need to explain it to him. I would hate for him to be mad at you for letting him continue pulling out and you get pregnant.
