Unless you have a DVD drive, you cannot download any files from the DVD to laptop. Simple as that. DVD drive can be external and you can pick one up from a store. The reason why I say DVD external and not laptop component is because they might be expensive. You can get a USB external DVD drive between $30 - $60 from eBay.

you can only download DVDs if the laptop configures a dvd reader/writer.
