Odd bits about Astrology?

Hi > I personaly do not really beleive in the thinking. Yet ..
Having just returned from my local shop, the good lady behind the counter guessed exactly, and I mean exactly what I was after.
How ? She said it is because I am a fellow Libran.
Whoah. I thought.
Is there something in all this that I have missed ?
I doubt it, but there you go with it ...

3. You are speaking about commercial Sun Sign entertainment, not Astrology.

4. No two people are the same because they do not possess the same chart, or blueprint, at birth.

5. In order to draw this blueprint of you up, the following are needed: Date of Birth, Time of Birth, Place of Birth (Latitude & Longitude), and whether Daylight Savings or Wartime were in effect at the time of your birth.

6. Some people have many planets (stellium) in their birthsign, so they may project that sign's characteristics more.

7. Like anything, you are either interested and will take the time to learn it correctly, or you'll repeat things out of context as if you are an authority on the subject. Thank Chiron that some of the responders to this question are not armchair brain surgeons.

You are really missing much. each sign of the zodiac has special characteristics. people born in same sign share these traits. But these traits get modified by other influences. Astrology has two parts one is mathematical which any one good at maths can learn easily. The other is the forecasting part which is difficult because a lot of reading, memory and practical experience is required. A good astrologer seldom misses his mark and those who miss do not know the science.

Well....I too am a fellow Libran and I've lived for 60 years, have bedded most signs, married a few and have known or do know people of all the zodiac signs. It is my opinion that people born under the same sign all have similar traits and charactaristics, so....Maybe you are missing something.

Astrology as presented is a bunch of nonsense. However, when a person is born influences them all their life. The time of year, the level of mental maturity when annual things occur, all play a part in who we become. It governs at what time of the year we physically mature which in turn affects our life. As a sort of short hand, Astrological signs are a valid indication of who we are.

The oddest thing is that there are those who are SO SURE that there is nothing in it. Man, I would not like a person like that to be in charge of the country. What if they suddenly started not believing in human rights . . . those are insanely stupid people. Move away from them, slowly, quietly, but quickly.

I don't believe my horroscope, but there are certain traits which seem to indicate some influence. I'm Scorpio, and I certainly have a sting in my tail. Virgos like you to have everything neat and tidy - except of course for their personal effects, which they should be allowed to leave lying around wherever they think fit.

No it is possible to tune into what people are going to say,when i was getting my sky installed I answered the engineers question before he asked it and he was gob smacked and said how did you know what i was going to say,and i don't know i just did,I'm a Scorpio by the way.
