"A good read" is a subjective thing. What you like and find good, I might think is horrid, and vice versa.
I'd say you should start reading and if you find it interesting, keep reading. If it just doesn't hold your interest then there's no harm done and you can at least say you tried it.

John Grisham does not write great literature, but, entertaining, fast paced, good reads, yes. Unlike the authors that you mentioned, Grisham's genre is very specific to courtroom and legal drama.
It will be a change of pace for you, but I suspect that you will enjoy the read. It you do, Grisham has compiled a lengthy series of similar books; greatly helped by his word processor. They all reach best seller status.

Well, I'm not a big Sophie Kinsella fan, but I like Grisham's writing style.

IMO, any book by John Grisham is a good read. He has a nice writing style and interesting subject matter.
