I really didn't care for part 2. It lacked irony and surprise. It was more of a kill movie. If I wanted to watch kill movies I'd go in for a Friday the 13th installment. I hope part 3 brings back more of the dread and slight of hand the first had. The first movie was an instant horror classic. I think it stands alone.
The one good part about the sequel was that they did something no other horror franchise has thought to do: they extended their ability to make sequels by developing an apprentice.

I don't understand completely how there can be a 3rd. I was under the impression that Jigsaw had died. At the end on the 2nd movie his in the car with glazed eyes and not moving so I assumed that he was dead.
But I will go see it, love the 1st one. 2nd was okay. Not going to set high hopes for the 3rd, how many time can you do the same thing over and over but it gets tiring. Look at Friday the 13th.
But I will See it.

I live Saw the original, But the second part sucked. I think the 3rd. part will be a wash out because the original idea is gone. Anyway, i will wait for the DVD and rent it. Or maybe, i wait a year and watch it for free at Showtime.

Saw 3 does look good. Jigsaw rules, but how long can a person with terminal brain cancer live. This should be the last one, if not who cares there good movies.

It's not my thing. I didn't see any of the movies. I'm not sure desensitizing ourselves to that kind of violence is a good thing.
