How did you lose your insurance? Why have you not obtained new insurance?

Don't have sex and you wont get pregnant!

Gee that was tough......

The best way to find out is to go to the dr. or take a test.
I hate to tell you this, but I got off of my bc and was pregnant in 6 weeks. But just because this happened to me, doesn't mean it will happen to you. You have gotten several mixed answers from people, and the only way to know is to take the test.
But if you were going to be having unprotected sex, you probably shouldn't expect to not be pregnant. Sorry. Good luck!

There could be hormonal reasons but pregnancy is very likely. Get tested... and if you are lucky and aren't pregnant get some birth control. You are better off trying to figure out paying for that then trying to figure out how to support a kid.

There a lots of family planning clinics that offer it free or cheap.

Ashley,

If you can't afford the birth control and you know you will need it, go to a local health clinic run by you neighborhood, and get free medical care or contact a planned parenthood office and see if they will help you with a plan you can afford. You can do a home pregnancy test, but the clinics would be a safer bet.
Sometimes when women go off birth control it takes time for their system to get regulated. Whatever you do stay safe,

If you've had unprotected sex, yes, you could be pregnant.

Your best bet would be to go and get an at-home test and do it.

If you're honestly not ready for a child, then you need to do some better planning in your life -- like thinking ahead and carrying a different form of birth control on you (condoms, spermicide etc), or have your partner carry them.

Calm down if you think you are pregnant just take a test

And sometimes it is normal for your period to pause for some months
Cause it is trying to adjust to your change (of no BC pills)

No....it's perfectly normal. When I got off the pill, it took me about 6 to 7 months to "get right" If you think you could be pregnant, just take a test to ease your mind right about the time you next period is suposed to come. Everything will work out just fine!
