I just bought a baby sling from e-bay, but there are no instructions on how you wear it. I know it should be self explanitory, but I am a tad confused. Thanks so much!

There is a great organization (NINO) that is devoted to helping moms learn how to wear their babies in slings and other kinds of carriers. Check out the link below to find a chapter near you and bring your sling to a meeting.

What brand is it? If it is New Native you can go to thier web site and it has a link to explain how to use. I think Maya wraps also have a link. With out a picture it is hard to say. You have to make sure it fits properly. (the baby can't hang doen to far or up to high) I think you would just put it over your shoulder with the opening facing in or up and then insert baby. But without apicture it is hard to say. CHeck out New Natives and Maya wraps web site hey may be able to help. Or if it is a Baby Bjorn carrier- check them out. It allcan be confusing at first. But it gets easier.

Well there are many different positions you can use based on the type of sling you have.

If it has a plastic ring that holds the fabric together then you shouldn't use it. Those are extremely dangerous. The only kind I recommend are the loops of fabric. They go over your shoulder and are much easier and safer.
