Call the police. Then call the local Department of Children and Family Services and lodge an official complaint. You can remain anonymous.

It depends on if it's a friend of yours or not. If it's just someone you happened to see doing it, you might consider phoning in an anonymous tip to the police-- have the address and other pertinent information handy when you call them.

If it's a friend, then of course you need to try to talk to that person and ask them why they would do that. Anyone who would shoot up in front of a baby, or with a baby in the house, is being grossly negligent. If you know the person's family (especially grandparents), ask him or her if their family knows they are doing that with a child in the home, and see what they say.

Keep in mind that once you get involved, you may eventually have to testify in court.

If it was me, I would phone in an anonymous tip to the cops and stay the hell away from that situation after that. Let the cops decide whether to call Social Services or not.

Call child protective services. You can call the police station and ask as well they will give you a number that you can call. I say you are doing the right thing nothing worse then having two parents that are both on drugs. That poor baby he or she probably gets neglected as well. You should call them ASAP. WTG for being a good Samaritan. You might be saving that kids life!!! They could find a relative that the child can live with. Family members could be unaware what is really going on.

You need to call child protective services stat . . . And ignore the druggies that are trying to protect their own here, the children are in serious danger and these addicts care more about their trip than the children. It is the kids lives that are the primary issue here. I hope your call saves them.
If you call your local Police they will give you the number for child services or they may come save the kids & take them to protective services themselves.
You have just witnessed a very ugly reality, I hope you are strong enough to follow through. You have my prayers.
God speed

Q. What happens when a child is reported abused or neglected?

A. CPS and/or law enforcement typically receive reports of maltreatment and determine what sort of response is warranted in each case. Depending on the nature and seriousness of the report, law enforcement or CPS may make an initial visit to the home to ensure the child's immediate safety. In the most serious cases, law enforcement will intervene to provide immediate safety for all parties and decide whether an arrest or further criminal investigation is warranted. CPS will also investigate and assess the situation to decide whether mandated services or civil court intervention is required. They are also responsible for helping to put in place a plan for safety and services to the children and families. This may include child care, medical care, parenting education, housing, family supervision, drug treatment, or a placement for the child.

Many states are embracing a differential response. This approach allows agencies to provide services and supports to families who need assistance to keep their child(ren) safe without conducting a formal investigation and without a formal determination that child abuse or neglect has occurred.

The police, but be prepared to have to provide proof, or call when they're actually doing it so the police can see for themselves. They'll then take the appropriate course of action. If you're not satisfied with their response, call Child Services and tell them. Try to get copies of any reports or paperwork so that way if there's any question of what happened previously, you have copies and that can save a lot of time.

Call the police tell them they have drugs (obviously they have) in the house and you fear for the well being of their kids, they will know who to contact. I think you can even do this anonymously if you don't want to get really involved

Please do something it is so sad for children to be in situations like this. Too many people ignore these things and children get hurt, not just physically, but emotionally.
