You can use Microsoft Word for that. Open a file, grab a newspaper or magazine and start typing. When you are done, the LOOK at the PROPERTIES section under the FILE menu and look at the typing statistics. It will confirm how long you have been typing, how many Words and how many letters. Do 30 minute exercises with different materials.
OR, type very long answers at Yahoo Answers, like I do.
