What is the pop / smtp server for gmail.com and yahoo.co.uk email address. do they use the port number 25 or 587????
i m trying to configure MS Outlook 2003.

For the 579 thousandth time this week, you cannot use the yahoo pop 3 server unless you pay for premium services with yahoo now! It is no longer part of the free mail account!

you can't. they do not have pop3 and smtp servers setup for you to use outlook. if you purchase yahoo premium services you can do it. The other option is to install a program like Ypop that tricks your PC into making outlook work with yahoo.

When did they stop allowing free Pop3 access? I set my Yahoo up in Outlook Express four days ago! Works fine for me.

I even have had comparable problems with my outlook. in case you'v double checked each little thing and all of it seems ideal (additionally out look can from time to time be case gentle) you could attempt contacting your POP service and making useful each little thing is comfortable with them, or you could reinstal your outlook and which could look after the subject. sturdy luck
