I would recommend thin fingerless gloves as well. I work in an office and am typing away on the computer all day long. The more I type, the colder my hands get. I also keep a space heater under my desk and hold my hands under hot water from time to time. As I am also prone to tendonitis in my wrists, I wear wrist braces at night so they have a chance to rest and heal. When my tendonitis acts up, my hands get even colder than ever.

Get those gloves with the fingers cut out,
hold a warm cup of tea,
put them in your pants (or better yet, down a hot associate's pants),
put a mini-heater in your office near your desk

I have the same problem. I warm them in the bathroom under warm water. I sit on them from time to time to warm them up. I also drink tea...slowly.
Good luck, a heater under your desk may help.

I drink coffee, type faster, and hold one under my leg from time to time! I also have a space heater.

try neoprene wrist straps.... blood vessels run near to surface there and keeping wrists warm keeps hands warm .. ;)
