I don’t have to like him, but I do have to work for him. Fortunately, I do like him. That has not always been the case, but my current boss is a good guy.
Managers need to understand who acts as their customer. Whom should they serve? Do they work for the money-paying consumer who buys their company’s product? No. Occupational workers take care of the customer. Management should make sure that their employees have all of the tools that they need to do their job. Management must insure that their employees receive their pay and benefits in a timely manner. When they do this, then the employee is happy and productive. A happy and productive person cares for the customer.
That is my philosophy of management.

Absolutely. He's a kind and caring man. He is thoughtful, kind and makes going to work a pure pleasure. He shows respect to his employees and gets it back ten times over. I know, I'm lucky.
