My discharge doesn't seem to ever stop! It's usually either clear or a milky color and it doesn't smell, but it occasionally is a light yellowish color. Its starting to be really frustrating because it seems like I am always wet down there. I read somewhere that it can be from the types of food you eat that produce mucous but what can I do to stop it, does anyone else have this problem?

Without the odor, it doesn't seem to be any of the common threatening infections. And the slightly yellowish color is expected. Nevertheless, if it seems unusually frequent to you, getting it checked out could be the best thing you could do for yourself. There are many 'rare' infections out there that only your doctor may know about; and of course, earlier is ALWAYS better!

Discharge is normal, but not when its constant. You could have any number of problems going on, from an infection (not necessarily an STD...have you been sexually active?) to some disorder. You need to be seen by a gynecologist. Food usually only affects mucous in the digestive tract, not the vagina. GET TO A DOCTOR!

If you have been to a doctor and got a check up and they said you are free from infection then unfortunately there is not much you can do about it. You could try cutting back on your dairy intake but there is no guarantee that it's your diet causing it. You would have to really ingest a lot of the wrong foods before you had that problem.

You should see a Gynocologist to rule out the obvious disorders related to increased vaginal discharge (then you can relax). Keep in mind that vaginal discharge itself is not pathological. Discharge variation is predictable, cyclic and directly related to hormonal variations (hormone type, blood level, feed back loop, etc.) which govern your ovarian/menstral cycle. (HORMONAL VARIATION IS THE MECHANISM FOR THE MAINTAINING THE CYCLE). The feedback loop is a biological system for monitering and maintaining the cycle, ex.: An increased production of one hormone triggers a growth stage for the egg (discharge may become yellowish). Once it reaches a specified level, shutdown is triggered (via feedback loop); another hormonal production is kick strarted which causes release and migration of the egg (may have rise in body temp, decrease in discharge and increased fertility). This stage continues until a specific level is reached and feeds back to trigger stop; the next stage kicks in...and so on...depending on your menstral/ovarian cycle. While CYCLIC VARIATION is normal, you should NOTE CHANGES in the PATTERN OF VARIATION within the cycle, (especially sudden ones). Final notes: 1) Antibiotics kill all bacteria, including beneficial species lining vaginal tract; protecting tissue from yeast and other pathological invaision. 2) Do not treat without diagnosing. The treatment for one pathology (in its absence) may worsen the undiagnosed pathology. 3) Sudden changes in discharge (inconsistent with your cycle) warrant follow-up as they may indicate changes in cellular growth and behavior. This may be the first and only indication of certain cancers/pre-cancerous cell growth.

Are you on any type of birth control?
It may be what you are eating or drinking however I would try drinking plenty of water. If it persist then I would talk it over with your DR.

Some women are more "wet" than others and its very common.

Also how old are you? It may be a change in your life cycle.
