It was just an accident. I seen this morning that while he was flying with his trainer they began to approach one of the airports in NYC. In attempt to avoid the heavy air traffic of the airport, he tried a very difficult turn around and ended up crashing into the building. They were only flying at 800ft.
When I first seen this in the news my immediate thought was terrorists too. But I think it is safe to say that this was a clear cut accident.

He didn't fly his plane into the building, he put out a distress signal before he hit (Cirrus planes are notorious for going down) It was a tragic accident that's it.

No and let the man rest in peace. It hasn't even been 24 hours yet and someone like you is joking about it. Death is not a joke and accidents happen.

I think it was an accident, but after reading how he was an outsider to his team, it might have been a suicide. I don't think he was alcaida.
