yes, it has a lot to do with it. Both of you just had a large release of tension and a surge of endorphines (chemicals in the brain). This allows you to relax and enjoy the act and moment and therefore you are no longer held back by all that the world does to keep one up at night (did I pack their lunch? did I let the dogs out? Are the clothes in the dryer? I wonder if the boss is gonna lay me off? Did I take the trash out?) who cares you just got some. lol nite nite.

Sex is a form of physical release, so yes it could be helping however, jogging before bedtime can make you sleep soundly tooo

Of course it does. Sex is the best exercise in the world, and although when we're in the throes of lovemaking, we don't feel it, this is a very strenuous exercise. Best sleeping pill in the world.
