I think u fear something and are going thru some emotional trauma somebody chasing u interprets that u want to get away from the things which are harassing u mentally, emotionally and physically u just want to lead a good peaceful life u crave for happiness and fun. If u have had a disturbed childhood or u have witnessed some kind of violence right in front of ur eyes with ur beloved ones or for those u cared for wud also b the reason for u getting this dream quite often. Ask urself wat is it that u want to change or how can u modify the troubling situation which is bothering u.

The police chasing u also interprets the same thing u r trying to run away from a situation or something u witnessed was too drastic for u to bear. It may also b some guilt u r harbouring within urself too.

Dreams take a different form of our actual experience in the day we live up, when our brain gets the rest it just runs over all the events of our day/s and gives them a face in the form of DREAM so when we dream we are actually living our day or life on a subconscious level.

Sometimes dreams recur even after a still period say for eg. if u had a dream today maybe the same dream may recur after say 10 yrs with the exact same details or with slight modifications depending upon the current situation...thus we maybe haunted by our past experiences and these experiences, which we are somehow not able to shrug off completely bcoz of the impact the situation had on ur mind affecting our lives completely.

In order to over come this frequent dream I will suggest u try to think wat exactly is bothering u ? wat fear ? or pain? or trauma ? analyse it and when u come to a solution in dealing with that jeopardy I know u may totally stop getting this dream again.

One other thing u can do is before sleeping try to think of something good that u did...some help u extended, some kind gesture or say remember some very good time u had with ur loved ones or probably think about some good place u'd want to go to and thus in this way gradually u will stop thinking or remembering u ever had this dream. Try to relax before u go to bed maybe incorporate some deep breathing exercise.

Hope this helps u someway.

I used to be very into dreams. My biggest issue was being raped and attacked by demons and other people/things. These things chasing you are really you. This can work if your able to have lucid dreams, start by during day reminding yourself. When your being chased, face the predator and ask why theyre chasing you. I learned how to do this, the attacker stops, answers and goes away. May take practice, especially if you dont have lucid dreams. After a while these dreams will go away.

Feeling guilty about something?
Or maybe inadequate?
There are frequent symbols in dreams, but any shrink will tell you that you are the best person to interpret your own dreams.
Whatever you do, do not buy, read, or believe any of these stupid dream-symbol books.
You may wish to talk to a counselor if these dreams are frequent and disturbing. My best to you.

I would say that you may be feeling guilty about committing some misdeed in the past and getting away with it.

You are probably afraid that someone will eventually put two and two together and discover or decipher your transgression.

You will continue to have those particular dreams until you face up to your misdeed and make amends.
