If she had been honest when Tristan asked her name when she was nursing him back to health, would things have still turned out like they did? Would there be less sexual tension between the two of them or equal? Seeing as her father would never likely never allow them to be together.

If Isolde had told the truth they would've probably had more sexual tension because Tristan would've known that she was off limits from the beginning, but he would have married her instead of Lord Marke because Lord Marke probably would've given her to him. That is if Tristan admitted his feelings to Lord Marke from the beginning. Lord Marke loved him that much.

I disagree. If she had told him her identity, it wouldn't be much of a story. Unaccepted love that is kept secret is a powerful theme.
