Don't worry - it takes a few months after having a baby to get normal again. Your uterus has been through a lot! I am usually normal to the second, but after my baby was born took three months to get normal again.

As a woman myself, I know that your period can be weird sometimes. My period never comes on time or at certain intervals. Especially after having a baby, it can take months for a "cycle" to form. Good luck!

keep your hopes up.
i took metformin only for 1 month. i am now 19 weeks pregnant..

but i don't think it's suppose to stop your period. that is given if you have polycystic ovarian syndrome. so it's suppose to help with that and for diabetes too . if you don't have diabetes, good for you.. don't get scared.. that is what this medicine is for. but also used to help concieve. i don't have diabetes either (Thank God) and it helped me get pregnant after more than 3 years of trying.

good luck.

A more interesting question is-- why don't you seem to trust your doctor?

Maybe it was another drug that did it? Is it possible that it was a miscarriage? I don't know.
