I have a costume party to go to for a Mom's group I am in...I don't want to spend any money, or little at that, and I do want to dress up. Any one have any ideas on anything to dress up as, with the stuff any one would have laying around at home?? Any ideas would be appreciated!! Thanks!

-paint your face like as soccer ball, wear cleats or tennis shoes, a jeresy and be a 'soccer mom'.
-put your hair up and tie a ribbon around your head, get a long towel and tie around your neck, put on some tights or leggins and wear a swin suit on top of that and go as 'super mom'.
-if you are artistic, get a white shirt, some markers, and make a bumpersticker on your shirt that reads something to the effect of "my kid is an honor roll student"
-Put on a pair of very pressed khakis, button up top, buy some blond hair spray, take some perfect looking muffins and go as martha stewart.
-Or you can go as what I am going as. Wear what ever bottoms you want to, buy a long blond wig (perfer curly), get the biggest bra you can find and fill it w/what ever looks real and best, wear a tight t-shirt w/perhaps a belt around the waist. Wear bright makeup, put on some self tan, carry around a walkie talkie...I am going as dog the bounty hunter's wife and my husband is going as dog.

Wear a pair of short running shorts, and a tank top. Get some glitter paint and write sweatin' to the oldies on it and get a brown wig (try to find some type of fluffy clown wig....wont be too expensive). Most moms know who Richard Simmons is :)
I did this costume one year for a college party too, I spray painted an old clown wig, so i didnt have to buy one :) Cheap, comfortable, and funny.

Going all mythical you could use a sheet and sandels.
Wear all black clothes and use some make up to make a milk mustache and go as a got milk? ad.
Put on some slippers and a robe and put your hair up in curlers.
If you have any old style clothes or clothes you can mix up a bit, mix them up and throw on a bit of heavy make up and tease your hair 80's style.
Capri's and a sweater top with curled banges and a tight pony tail with ribbon or yarn wrapped around it for something even more classic and older.
If all else fails, use the "Hello My Name is" stick on and in big writing, write GOD and post it on your shirt.

One of my friends once dressed all in pink and cut out a piece of cardboard, tied it on the top of her head, and on the cardboard was a dish, utensils and a cup. She tried to make the body piece a bit textured by stuffing her outfit. She was gum under the table.

Go as Princess Leia from the original Star Wars movie. Wrap a white sheet around you and pin it to make sleeves, wrap a rope around your waist for a belt, and put your hair up in the two braided buns, and your done!

this is quick and easy - get a pair of black pants and a black t-shirt and then a bunch of white paper towels, used styrofoam cups and white paper. Pin it on yourself and you're white trash. Sorry if this is offensive

OMG i got it! dress up in all pink and then glue one of your kids lawn chairs to a helmet and wear the helmet...you're gum under the chair!!! it's easy and funny....have a good hallllooweeeeen
