A degree is a degree. I attended the Univeristy of Phoenix online and had some pretty amazing profesors. I just graduated two years ago with my MBA and i have not felt that anyone looks at my degree as less...in fact UoP is a well known school.

I am currently the director of accounting for a successful manufacturing company and they would not consider anyone with less than a master's degre and i was chosen from 35 applicants.

It is kind of pricey, at least compared to the traditional schools near me with MBA cirricullums so that may be a downside for you.

I would think it depends on the degree and the position you apply for. By and large, however, I think that to most employers a degree is a degree.

Online colleges aren't any worse than state schools, but they don't have prestige. You could always get your bachelor's at one, then go to a prestigious school for your master's.

My sister talked approximately as the college of Phoenix as quickly as to ask approximately education on enrolling of their college, or perhaps although she declined and desperate to no longer do it - and she or he advised them that - they talked approximately as on a daily basis and hounded her desiring her to bypass. in case you call them, do no longer supply them touch education except you're somewhat eager to bypass as a results of fact they willchronic you loopy desiring you (and your money) at their college. there is likewise the value. except i'm improper, the college of Phoenix is somewhat costly - like 12k a twelve months - and despite in the event that they do have Pell gives you and such to bypass, once you're a grad pupil like myself - you will the two ought to bypass on loans or own money, which - i do no longer understand approximately you - i don't have 12k laying around the domicile or in the financial employer appropriate now. you're able to do extra beneficial to touch a school or a school on the factor of you and ask them approximately their on line courses to be honest. you would be an instate pupil then, and you will no longer pay practically as plenty to bypass that way. Your community college or college additionally has a longtime call, like Duke college, or WVU, for example, and does not appear like some 'on line college' obtainable someplace it somewhat is in it for the money in ordinary terms. it somewhat is my opinion. you're extra beneficial off going to a school on the factor of you, despite if this is on line, and the college of Phoenix is expensive.
