Yes. But you have to have the Yahoo! Plus (paid Version) version in order to have "POP Email". Then it will work in your Outlook Express!

Quoted below:

"Get more control and more capacity. Mail Plus includes virus protection from Norton AntiVirus™, personalized spam filtering with SpamGuard Plus, no graphical ads, POP access, 20MB message size, virtually unlimited storage – 2GB – and more. Learn more.

Give your email that personal touch with mail made just for
you — get you@your-name.com or any other address that is available! Personal Address includes your own domain and five different email addresses that you can assign to anyone you'd like. Learn more.

only $19.99/year"

Read "Download Messages From Yahoo! Mail For Free " written by Winston's Attic

"As many of you know, the free version of Yahoo! Mail does not provide POP3 access. In layman's terms, you can't download messages from Yahoo! Mail to your desktop e-mail client. In order to receive POP3 access you need to upgrade to Yahoo! Mail Plus, which will cost you $19.99/ year. However, there is a poor man's alternative to gain POP3 access to Yahoo! Mail and it won't cost you a dime.

YPOP is a free open source application which allows users to access their messages from Yahoo! Mail. Currently, it supports the following OS: Windows, Mac, Solaris and Linux. It supports several popular desktop e-mail clients, such as: Outlook, Outlook Express, Thunderbird and Eudora. Use of YPOP's in no way violates your license agreement with Yahoo! Mail. How does it work? Here is what the developers' had to say:' -- excerpt from article.

Yes you can - even in free versions (I think this wasn't always the case).

In OE, goto Tools/ accounts/ Add/ Mail

Enter display name and email name.

In accounts, set your incoming pop3 server as 'pop.mail.yahoo.co.uk' and your outgoing smtp server as 'smtp.mail.yahoo.co.uk'. Your account name is your login name with yahoo, and your password - your normal password.

Works fine for me
