is it ok to pluck above the eyebrow? I have plucked below and above for years now and heard you shouldnt pluck above the eyebrow- is that true?

Yes you can pluck or wax above the brow it gives a cleaner look.

They say not to pluck above the eyebrow just because it takes good judgement to do a good job and not mess it up and thin your eyebrows too much. I pluck above the eyebrow. If you look at them, you can already tell where the shape is and you can pluck anything that's outside of that shape. Just be sure not to overdo it. Quit while you're ahead. And if you're really worried about messing it up, get it done professionally.

I've never heard that, and I do pluck above and below my brow line. I also have my eyebrows waxed every few months at a salon and it is done above and below then as well.

it really depends on your eyebrows. Its ok if you hav a few strays above and need to pluck, but in shaping you should only pluck below.

Yes you should pluck stray eyebrow hairs because it looks better. They don't grow back darker but you just have to keep plucking them.

yea do not pluck above the brow only below it. when plucked above it lookx over done, if you have really thick eye brows go to a salon to get it waxed if done right it does not hurt a bit

I think that all depends on how your eyebrows grow. If they aren't messy on top... you just want them thinner DONT PLUCK.
If you have to much hair going up your forehead from you brow PLUCK IT.
Your trying to improve your appearance. Whatever works. Make sure you don't mess up though cause you'll end up looking a lil bumpy in the brows.

I've always heard the same thing and the reason that some ppl dont do it is bc if u have a nice shape on the top of ur brow then it'll lose its nice shape and be too round or something. the person who told me is my aunt and she never plucks the top bc her brow is really nice on top and i never pluck the top of mine either bc its really nice also and it gives it more shape. but u can do whatever u want to ur brows.

Plucking stray hairs, above and below the natural brow line, is fine. Just don't overdo it!
