I am doing an essay on job creation and employment in ireland and i'm finding it really difficult to find the information i need!! I need to know:
1. Number of jobs in private versus public sector in Ireland
2. Number of jobs in sectors such as Manufacturing, Construction, Services etc.. in Ireland
3. Growth in these sectors
4. Composition of foreign to national companies in Ireland

Any help in these general areas, or any advice on where to find some answers would be much appreciated!!

Try going to www.massanswers.org and connect to an internet librarian. They can help you there with research. Try also Google or Yahoo's Directory and search in detail. Search for research companies like American Research Group or the Bureau for Statistics. You can also try looking up through the CIA though I am not so sure about this particular idea, but my lecturer used it for politics research for population statistics, you can give CIA a shot ;-)! Good Luck!
