One time I bought a ticket to an afternoon movie, and I was the only person in the theater. And they still showed it. I think it was called "Swampville, USA", or something close to that, put out back in about 1980. I can also say, this way one of my "Top 5 Worst" movies I have ever seen!
I imagine they still have to show it, as who knows, somebody could still buy a ticket in the middle of the show to go to it.

That never happens, but yes, I'd say so, because they plan out everyday at the theater. that's why there's a certain schedule they go by.
