what age are you? maybe you are going through menopause. i know you have alot of night sweats when going thru menopause. when i was on a certain medication i would sweat like that, i think it was an anti-depressant, and i would wake up and have to change. also when i was pregnant, i would have terrible dreams, and wake up all sweaty and have to change! it passed with time though.

Some people just sweat a lot. You may be having dreams or nightmares that get your heart going. Try different PJ's. Micro fibre is great. Could be your sheets make it worse too. If it doesn't get any better with some of the suggestions you get, go to the Dr. There are meds that you can take that reduce sweating, as a last resort. Remember sweating is your bodies way of regulating temperature. Those meds will inhibit you from sweating when you need to, like in the summer or when you are being active. I hope this helped.

Take your temperature. You can tell very easily if you're running a fever.
Also depending on if you're male or female...and your age,it could be hormonal changes your body is going through. As early as the 30's some women experience peri-menopause.If you're sweating that much it would be a good idea to consult your physician anyway just to have it checked out. Do you sweat profusely at other times of the day or only at night? Do you have too many covers on? Is it hot in your room?

Sweetie that could be hormonal, but at the same time, I would seriously go to your doctor to rule out other things such as HIV. That is a prime symptom of HIV, night sweats. I don't want to scare you, but you really need to speak with someone, just to be on the safe side.
Best of luck!

It could be hormonal. Birth control, medication, ...these are things that could cause it...I would consult your doctor. Are having any other symptoms? It could be number of things. Best thing is to see your doctor and get checked out. I went through the same thing a few months ago. I got off my meds. and it went away.
