Im a die hard Conservative (not Republican) but I am ashamed at the administrations policy towards border security. I am embarrassed that Conservatives have essentially all the power at the moment and have done NOTHING to even slow the problem of illegal immigration or securing our borders. In my mind this plays as big a part in the war on terror as anything. Plus the burden that illegal immigration places on our economy both federally and locally.

No, the Bush administration seems most apt at washing each others backs, greasing palms, and generally spreading half truths and full lies all while trying to spread a thick layer of manure across the American people's eyes. I'd say its all in a days work for this cabinet. Like "Man of the Year" states politicans are like diapers, they should be changed often and for the same reasons. And as any sitter will tell you some are full of it before you even get them.

Politics step on doing work I think much more than the average citizen realizes. This is not an excuse, as I think one can pick holes thru every government and every President if you wanted to-also what goes on that the newsmedia doesn't report on is HUGE- wouldn't it be nice-no matter what our political beliefs that we could get all the stories and less spin? I do think though, because of the constant push of war-which in the broad sense-the terrorist threat to our way of freedoms and life-get things set aside- like population and border control. Its not even an issue of illigals to me anymore- its an issue of the fact that we cannot support the many, many that we are trying to or are forced to. We need records and taxes paid and everyone sharing and not so many in the country that we can't take care of our own-whether they are new or born to it. I guess I'm saying, it would be nice if some of our money went more to us! So many things need to be done and so much is wasted!

Just because the liberal media focuses on only the war doesn't mean that Bush hasn't done anything else. Why don't you do some research on the economy. Stem cell research. Trade relations. Get your facts straight missy.
