I am a witch and I need a familiar. I am allergic to cat hair so cat's are out. if anyone can suggest a familiar please advise.
Halloween is approaching and I want to be ready!

I really think a lot of you are just haters that want to bring everyone down.
I was raised on the bayou and the witches here have familiars that are cats sorry that you unfamiliar with all witches

I really don't believe you are genuine in your statements and are just posting this in an attempt to make others look foolish.
The way your question is worded suggests you are just posing as a Witch/Wiccan/Pagan and bating those who would respond so as to make them sound foolish. You do not need a familiar and if you did have one it will reveal itself to you. By saying that you need one because Halloween is coming up suggests that you know very little about being a witch. Maybe you are young in the craft, if you are, then I apologize. But like I said, if you are meant to have a familiar then it will find you.

your little "fact" about most witches having cats is false. Really hon, reading one book does not make you a witch. You do not NEED a familiar. You NEED food, you NEED water you NEED air to breathe... You WANT a familiar. Now that the the universe knows this, fasten your seatbelt and enjoy the ride! Please consider more research & study, before you make declarations that make a whole community look foolish. I really hope that you are new to the craft, the universe, the gods, the powers that be, are less harsh to the youngins... If you want to be ready for Halloween (Samhain to witches) buy your self a new candle, a pinch of mugwort and a new mirror. Clear the room of negative energy (try sweeping) cast a circle, light the candle, empower the mugwort, rub the herb on the glass of the new mirror in a counter clockwise direction (Widdershins to witches) ask the universe, the gods, the powers that be, to show you a vision of your familiar... sit & meditate on your own reflection for about 10-20 minutes...if you don't get a message or vision about a familiar... then a familiar is not in your immediate future. But chances are you will get something, take notes on any images, phrases, thoughts that passed through your mind during this scrying meditiation... dont forget to close the circle... good luck seeker...

Okay Little One, I am personally aware of Wicca in your area and if you took the time to speak with one of them instead of pretending to understand, they would tell you this.
A Familiar is NOT and I repeat, NOT something you can go out and purchase. A Familiar will come to you in it's own time when you are no longer a child in your craft! However, this doesn't mean that one will not come to you before this time! Stop telling everyone you are a Witch and continue practicing because if you had reached Witch status you would know this!

Why Don't you ask your phantom fiancee if he or any of his haunted homies can suggest a good familiar. After all who else but a dead guy would know what would make the best familiar. I would think a black cat, bat, tarantula, or broom would be a good familiar. I think the troll was a good idea also but if that falls through, I would say a gremlin,goblin,or pixie would work.

Be careful what you wish for. Familiars and the energy there of need to be fed.
Regardless of the comments you may receive once you've opened yourself up for something most likely you will get things you never expected. Regardless of the seriousness of your question you have not named your dance. It's best you learn the steps in a hurry. Regardless of your current beliefs your life is about to change.

ok if cats are out, there are owls, frogs, rats, and crows hun are the traditional ones. Merlin had an owl, Morgana Faye had a crow, ect ect ect. Familiars are those animals that closely relate to the witch, I have a cat myself, my son has a rat.

your not a ral witch.... no witch needs a familiar they just find it, and it doesn't always have to be a cat. you really need to learn a lot more if you are really serious about calling yourself a witch

I would also have to say that a familiar is something that comes to you and feels "right" when it does so... you don't really pick out whichever one you want.

Try an amphibian like a toad or a reptile, like an iguana, no hair no allergies
