They will have two more years of being in control of ALL branches of government. Will they get rid of abortion? Lower taxes? Bring religion into schools? Get rid of public schools? Address the growing deficit? Protect our borders? Or anything else they claim to have concerns over? Or will it just be about war? Why haven't any of these great concerns among the moral majority been addressed in the last 6 years?

turbo, are you sure it is shrinking? lAst I heard Bush was celebrating that it wasn't AS HIGH asexpected...that means it is growing at a slower rate than he previously grew it, not that it is shrinking. Of course I am always open to a link supporting that.

Good question! I always like specifics, and I don't know that we have them.
I have assumed that Republicans would be more supportive of Bush's foreign policy, and that Democrats would be more likely to thwart it. I think most people would agree on this, although they'd disagree on which result would be better.
I've assumed that Republicans would do more to make the tax cuts permanent, and that Democrats would do more to raise the minimum wage.
I've also assumed that Republicans and Democrats would have clear and differing policies on judicial appointments, which would address many of the issues you mentioned. Republicans have passed the Partial Birth Abortion Ban Act and other laws addressing abortion, which are winding their way through the courts. I believe the last time the Democrats controlled Congress, they sought to pass a federal law essentially codifying Roe v Wade. I think the parties' other positions on "social issues," such as gun laws and same-sex marriage, are fairly clear.
Both parties are ROTTEN on spending, immigration and lobbying reform, from my point of view, and so we all have to choose the party that we think will be "less bad" on those issues.
I don't know that programs have been articulated all that well by the parties, but I think the choice is pretty clear - there are big differences between the parties.

They're politicians, so probably nothing much useful.
A wishlist of conservatives would be
1. Make current tax rates permanent.
2. Eliminate capital gains and inheritance taxes, permanently.
3. Control our borders.
4. Institute a program to deal with the illegal aliens. This would need to include increase immigration quotas and larger numbers of temporary workers.
5. Continue the war against terrorism. Determine if Iraqis want civil war, if so, we need to leave, but give the Kurds autonomy and weapons.
6. Keep pressure on Iran and N. Korea.
7. Reform Social Security
8. Institute a voucher program so kids can escape failing schools.
BTW, there is no great consensus to bring religion into schools - if they fail in being able to teach English, math or science, who in their right mind would let them butcher religion, too? And fyi the budget deficit is actually shrinking, not growing.

"When" we are still in control we will continue to serve the people and protect our country. We will do all we can to keep the democrats from giving away the US to foreign power.
