Black people are entitled to their opinions and some blacks may feel the same way a lot of whites feel.

I don't support Bush, not because he is a Republican, but because I don't support Bush. I don't think his "style" and his policies and his type of politics are in the best interests of the country.

And I don't think that supporting Bush is in the best interests of African Americans, as Americans and as blacks - it won't be the first time Americans have voted against their best interests.

But I don't think that black people who support Bush should be trashed with racial indignities. And furthermore, Bush did not win the popular vote, only the Electoral College vote. There was no White Candidate vs. Black Candidate, either. He is in owing to Fear, Smear, Spin, and people voting against their interests, not because of white people, who would have elected others if not for the peculiarities of the system.

No,

Black people that still support the Democrats are white wash and stupid though. How does it feel to know that those rich white mofo's on the coasts perfer to put their buds into power and pass up decent hard working folks in the south? I have seen my brothers rise up under the Presidents adminstration, not one but two have been given high positions in the adminstration, one a woman was the first ever to hold the Sec. of State post.

It is the Democrats that seek to keep black people down, they seek to keep the poor, poor so they have a voting block. It is Democrats that started and kept the slave trade going and kept the black population from voting rights till the Republicans were able to put enough people in both houses in the 1960's so that we could get the civil rights act passed.

You want to keep supporting a party that has worked so hard and continues to work hard to keep down all the poor, then fine by me. Just do not come here or elsewhere speaking such ignorance of the history of the Democrat party.

No. It means that they don't still buy into the Democrat's BS of, "A Chicken in Every Pot", and "Two cars in Every Garage".

They too realize that for a person to succeed in life, they have to earn it. Millions are supported by Government programs and have been for many generations. Notice that in New Orleans they found families that were 7th generation welfare moochers. No one in the family has ever worked. This proves that providing free support like this only perpetuates the problem.

I salute everyone that works for a living and doesn't vote based on any "minority racial support" sales pitch.

jirwin721 (above) spelled it out very nicely.

No, the color of ones skin makes no difference. Whether a Black, or a White, or a Hispanic person votes for Bush that makes him or her nothing but just that, a Bush supporter. You decide yourself whether or not you perceive that person as stupid or not based on who he or she supports The color of skin should not be taken into consideration when you make a judgment on someones level of stupidety. If you judge others based on skin color, you are a racist, and you have my pity.

White washed and stupid? What the hell are you some advocate that all blacks have to believe in democratic ideals? I am A BLACK Republican, whats wrong with that? I believe in pro-life, something that democrats do not. I believe in the idea that people should stand on their own two feet and walk, not welfare like Democrats do. How dare you call me whitewashed and stupid. Accept the fact that ppl aren't like you. Accept the fact that you are wrong for judging other ppl's belief's! To disparage a person based on your systems is sickening. Face Truth!

Let's see. Bush has more minority people in his cabinet than any other President ever did - including "our first black President", Clinton.

Bush has made it easier for all poor people (minorities included) to make a better life for themselves if they only put forth a little effort.

The only people hurt by Bush's policies are those who choose not to work, but instead live off of us taxpayers. Are you saying that all black people are on welfare? Or is it that all welfare people are black? Either way, it's pretty dumb.

Sounds like you are a racist. The people that support Bush have the RIGHT to do so. You commislamic fascists have a tendency to insult anyone that does not conform to your ideals. You have a RIGHT to do so but let me ask you; could that not be a reason you lose so many elections?

I agree with Scarlett_Ohara, black people who do only what they are told because one or the other political party, or any other organization tell them to do (or even white people who do this) are the real stupid people. Blacks and others who take their vote seriously and consider the implications of their vote are the truly empowered ones.

If in fact sir, you are a black man. By asking a question like that, you have proved what a discredit you are to your race.
To answer your question however. No they are not.
As far as stupid, you need only to look in the mirror to find stupid.

Nope. A guy that my husband and I both adore is black, very intelligent (he speaks several different languages, has traveled extensively, and has a college education), and yet he's a Republican who supports President Bush.
He's still very much black, and proud of it!
