Its br549 and it originated on hee haw by Junior Samples. He couldnt read his cue card one time tryin to say a phone number and it became a regular thing on the show. The regulars on the show laffed so hard it was hilarious!

Gosh, I'm not positive, but seems like that was the phone number Junior Samples used to say on Hee Haw. On the skit, he was a used car salesman, and he always said, "Call br459" at the end.

I think she probably meant BR549. I believe there is a country group named that, but they got the name from an old Hee Haw skit. I can't remember it exactly, but I think the two guys were car salesmen in the skit and the BR549 was their phone number. (By the way, phone numbers used to be recited beginning with two letters -- the town I grew up in was RA7-whatever. People would say their phone number was "Randolph 7-6410," but that was way before my time.)
