It seems, as becoming the norm, the Democrats and the Media have already called the Election in the bag. In fact if you read any of the papers and watch any of the boardcasts, well there is just no point in the Republican base turning out to vote.

So now that the Democrats have both the house and the Senate won, and are only a stone throw away from winning the White House in 2008.

What do you think will happen if, and when, the loose in this years midterms?

David - We had a higher turnout than normal in 2004 it did not bode well for the Democrats, I think you put way to much stock into the Media reports of a Democrat majority in the whole country. In fact there is a battleground poll released this week that shows almost 2-1 recongition between Conservatives and Liberal. 60% of the people consider them selves to be Conservative while 32% consider themselves to be liberal. Higher turnout will not favor the Democrats right now as they push far and far left and to more socialized agendas.

Bigirv - We were promised a move by the Democrats if the President won the last election. It didn't happen, are they waiting for a bus ticket? I realize most Democrats are lazy good for nothing leeches but surely they can borrow enough from Mom and Dad to move to a paradise such as Canada or Cuba. Instead of threatening to move, they should just up and move ffs it is getting old already.

Trust me on this one; its not a question will the Democrats or Republicans will win. The real issue at hand; will the American people continue to lose. We have witness the atrocities of government gone array with special interest; corporate greed, and global special interest. The voters will have to determine which party to associate with or penalize for not representing the people's will. No more Machiavellian rhetoric to maintain power and control. Do the job you were elected to do based upon the United States Constitution; and not personal political longevity.

I don't trust polls so I don't know if the media is right. Democrats always think they are going to win, review the rhetoric from the 04 election for proof. I think there is a definite chance Democrats will win the House. I think the Senate is unlikely. Either way, if the Democrats lose we are in for another 2 years of claims about how another election was stolen. I am an independent so it won't effect my opinions that much no matter who wins. However, I do not think Democrats are doing well at getting their message out. I think what comes through to often is their discontent, but not any actual plan for change. Negatives may play well with party faithful, but not moderates. There is a real possibility that they are over estimating the will of the electorate yet again, but we will find out on November 7th.

If the Democrats lose this election you'll see two things----1} A mass exodus to Canada, and 2} The same old web of lies and deception on a grand scale coming from Washington.

it will mean we will suffer through two more years of republican evil incompetence and I will have to admit if we can't win in the house of representatives this year then the democratic party might as well go out of business. I will also come to the conclusion that this country is totally doomed by the stupidity of it's electorate and not worth me pouring any more time and effort into this country. I will have to join the ranks of Dem's that did leave in the last election.

If the Dems lose in November (1) pigs will grow wings (2) George Washington will spin screaming from his grave (3) Satan will move to Florida for the warmth

I do not know what is going to happen in November. I see only a few yard signs in a middle class area of people who vote, either the parties are not doing their jobs or the people do not care very much

Well the media always try to paint this picture. We as intelligent Republican's don't fall for their lies.. If the democrats lose in November, the world will be a much better place..

It will confirm, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that the American voter does not care who governs them - if turnout ever increased, the Dems would never lose.
