Far too centered around the money. Players get ahead of themselves thinking they deserve what they get and that they need those crazy amounts of cash. Back when Jordan played, he EARNED those endorsements by being great. Lebron, for example, got a 90 or 100 million dollar contract from Nike before he stepped on the court. I'm not saying anything bad about Lebron, I'm a huge fan of his, but it's the business/industry part of the game that I dislike so much.

Dude, sad to say but I think you are watching a different kind of NBA Basketball. You're asking what's up with the New Ball? The answer is, INNOVATION. Let me ask you one thing. Lets say you're 20 years old. Tell me, have you been using the same toothbrush that you use when you were a year old?

Get my point, CHANGE IS GOOD!!

Now regarding the BORING comment that you said. How can you say that the game is boring when in fact last year, we saw KOBE BRYANT single-handedly defeat the Raptors scoring 81 points, and a week before that, KOBE outscored Dallas 62-61 through 3 quarters. These are just examples.

So before you even make a comment, make sure that the comment you're gonna make is true. The NBA is better than ever, in case you dont know. My guess, you are stuck in the 80's and 90's. Move on Dude!!!

don't remind me the Raptors are my city team. I had to hide my head from shame for a month. Anyway I see what everyone is saying yes money is a huge issue and though I like Lebron and Carmelo I think Dwayne Wade and other deserve more reconition. Anyway I don;t see the deal with the new ball but I guess I will have to wait till the season starts

There's nothing boring about the NBA what can you ask more about the greatest players in the world. But some of them are ball hog and just win for money.... but they are still good and entertaining to watch...

Players are not striving to be the best in the game like in the old days. They are just after the money.
