Why not? You get away with murder in the UK...literally.

Yes it should, it would take these young kids off the street for a start off, the streets would be safer in certain neighbourhoods, pimps would become a thing of the past, they'd be help and clinics for them to attend and it would hopefully cut down on STD's because they would act more responsibly, it would be safer for them too, other countries seem to cope with legalised prostitution and in this day and age Britain should be able to.

It is already! Kerb crawling, soliciting, etc, is illegal, but not the sex.

Is living together in so-called "sin" not a form of prostitution? Both parties, generally speaking, get all the benefits of marriage/living together, but can walk away from the relationship without any financial or legal penalties, unless, of course, property or children are involved.

Prostitution itself is legal, but many activities associated with it are not, eg soliciting and running a brothel
