The world will be a better place when you have to explore and describe this concept yourself, without seeking help. I have many thoughts on the issue, but until you develop independent thought and critical thinking skills, we are all mired in a simplistic general view.
Educate yourself, and make your own decisions.

It starts with the economy...because that is how people are paid.
Everything else is secondary, because without a strong economy,
you can't pay for social services, such as health care, UI, retirement,
welfare and so forth. The best way to make the world a better place is
to end socialism/communism, and introduce a system where each person takes personal responsibility for himself/herself and their
dependents, unless they are a dependent (children, elderly,
mentally/physically disabled or someone that has a valid reason
to be dependent). Socialism/communism, for whatever good it provides,
is overshadowed by the bad, since this form of government doesn't promote ambition and initiative, or more importantly, private investment,
which is key to economic growth and stability. Socialism/communism,
doesn't really share the wealth, as its' proponents would suggest. It
really creates misery. Look at North Korea, Cuba, Saskatchewan, and
other places that have either system in place. People may point to
Scandinavian countries like Sweden, where the personal taxation rate is extremely high, but the unemployment rate is very low. It's a ridiculous price to pay by taxpayers to support those who don't pay taxes for whatever the reason may be, good or bad.
Cut off welfare to those who are lazy and cheat the system, and let them starve. The poor shouldn't have children until they are at least middle-class standard of living or better, period. If they have kids, they should go to couples who can't have kids, but want them. It's time people stop mooching off the system, by having kids, so they
can get that extra paycheque. If they would rather collect welfare than work for a living, then those people should be cut off.
Economic aid to impoverished countries shouldn't be handed over to the government, or whoever is in charge. I would prefer it goes to actual charities or aid organizations that can be trusted, like Red Cross,
Oxfam, etcetera. Creation of actual jobs, not handouts should be a priority. Only those who aren't poor should be allowed to have children.
Think of how much poverty could be reduced over time, if people around
the world thought of this idea as a universal priniciple, but they don't.
Poor people who have children should be penalized with having their
kids being adopted by people who can afford to have them, and a fine
severe enough where they will get the message, even if it means
garnishment of wages.
Create an economy where there is no mandatory retirement age, so seniors who might be hard done by their retirement, having the option
of working, and at the same time, it doesn't place hardship on people
entering the workforce for the first time.
Destroy all weapons of mass destruction (chemical, biological,
nuclear/atomic) in the world. No country should be able to dictate to the
rest of the world, based on their military technology.
Sell all government-owned media (TV, Radio, Newspapers, Magazines) to the private sector.
Allow for a two-tiered health care system in all countries (so the
basic needs can be taken care of by the public health care system,
while the private system can take of immediate needs, or the other way around, countries with just one health care system usually can't cope with the demands placed on it.
Place a greater emphasis on physical fitness and education.
People are becoming fatter and more idiotic as we speak, and it can be
seen in children. It's disgusting to see how physically inactive they have become. Place a greater emphasis on proper nutrition. People should spend less time on entertainment than they are now. TV viewing on a weekly basis is a ridiculous high double digits number per week.
Treat people with basic human decency. The lack of values/morals, not to mention the irrational people have towards because of differences is appalling. Cliques need to end...people should not appreciate those who are like them, but those who are not. You're not
better than them, or they're not better than you, because they're different. The dumb jock/cheerleader/cool kids versus outcasts/nerds/
geeks/dorks mentality needs to end. Look what the results can lead to.
Great question by the way.

a possible start may be that, 'the world is only as good as we make it......................add that love plays a major role in peace and happiness................... also don't forget that the main problems right now are Miss-communication, stereotypes, personal beliefs and ignorance................once these are sorted out, hopefully the world may be a better place.............you can end it by saying 'it's up to each and everyone of us to act in a positively contributional manner in order to effect a change in the human race as a whole'..................good-luck. p.s...... just start to write it will come to you.
