How do u make a combo-box appear on top of a background image...?

ie6 seems to wrk fine but ie7 and ffox cant wrk and does z-index help...

how are you creating the background image? if you are just including the image in the or

that won't work (at least not well). what you need to do is set that image as the background for the container (the or

) and include the combo box in the container like this:

My first thoughts are that you need more cowbell for this to get answered properly, but here we go anyhow. Shot in the dark as to the specifics of what you need....
