Bl**dy awful
I'm right with you on this one
Best laugh is when they can't keep them up when walking along the street.
Fat girls are no better....squeezing their butts into hipsters, wearing off-white thongs.... just because they make it in your size sweetie...

You are an over the hill fuddy duddy and need to get in with the urban vibe. It's not just the youth who wear these jeans, most of us do (all be it that we wear them because we cant get waist high jeans, only hipsters), Lets face it men on building sites have been fashioning this style for many many years, they youth just make it look good and fancy nickers peeking over the top of them is far sexier than builders y fronts or shorts!

I'm not sure I agree that they are acting antisocially, but it does just look really silly. I'm not exactly old now, but when I was a teenager I used to try to dress nicely cos I wanted to look attractive and get a boyfriend! And the boys used to do the same! I don't think I ever would have gone for a guy that had is trousers swimming around by his knees...

There appears to be a desire to show off underwear in this generation. Women/girls are to blame the most with the thin strips of knicker showing above the waistline of trouser or skirt. This is extremely unsightly and non-functional as they almost always wear a shorter pair as well !!
The blokes with their just-above-the-knee waists are almost as bad, showing off, usually, boxers (not always clean - they are blokes after all!) of some obscure pattern...
What will the next generation do!!

It is ridiculous. Why is the urban look so cool? If you go for a job interview or if you have to get work done, you cannot wear urban vibe clothes to work. It is not right.

I have to agree with you. To me it looks sloppy, lazy, like they are wearing their grandfathers clothes and every time I see them I want to go over and pull them up!
Having said that, I do have to say that when I was growing up my mother and grandparents thought it was a disgrace for me to wear hip huggers and crop tops and for the guys to have long hair and pony tails. And we wont even talk about bikini's!
Each generation has had a style the previous generation just didnt like or approve of. For whatever reason.
I have allowed my own kids to express themselves so long as it was within reason and within the school dress code. They understood that once they entered into the real world and had to work for a living that they would have to eventually conform to society standards and those of their employer.

I'm not sure it's anti-social - it looks faintly ridiculous and makes the mother in me want to hoick them up for them!
and it seems even more foolish when you see the layers of underwear in order to be able 'display' the right brand of waist band - why??
I agree with some of the other comments - that girls wearing hipsters that basically display the top of the pubic bone are even worse, with tiny bits of string at the back and virtual gynaecology at the front!

My mate and I (we are in our 30s) have actually stopped a lad and done up his laces.
I go to a hair dressers which has a lad who dress with his jeans halfway down. We call him no ar5e and have asked him if his mother has ever taught him how to dress.
With all these kids wearing baseball caps, do they realise that they are going to go bald qiucker than some who who never wears 1.
As for hoodies do not even get me started.

Maybe it comes from years of being asked "Have you got clean underwear on?" by parents over the generations. For some unknown reason, they always used to think that you were going to be involved in a terrible accident and your pants would come out un-scathed! Now parents don't have to ask, they can see for themselves!

it's just fashion for the generation. I can't stand when people put their collars up like the preps from the movie Nerds or Caddyshack. Most people from the generation from letting their pants hang low have no idea what movies I am talking about. I LOVE BOOGER!
