Sorry honey, no laws against homework-even on Fridays. You have the whole weekend to do it so try to space it out so you don't feel so overwhelmed. I feel for you but know that I'm in college, work full time and I'll be spending my whole weekend doing homework too!

There is no law that governs the type, amount, or time that homework can be given - only a compassionate teacher realizes that students do have a life outside of the classroom and utilizes the time spent in her class wisely in order to cover the subject she is teaching.

I'm sure there is no Homework Law. Homework on Fridays will definitely become a fact of life as the school years progress.

As far as I know there is no law that restricts the amount of homework that can be assigned. But there is also no law that says you have to do homework. The law just says you have to attend school until you're 16. The rest is up to you.

there are laws on homework? if a child can't handle a lot of homework in 4th grade, wait till college and see what happen. Homework make a person smart and think correctly and get good grades in school.

So far, we don't HAVE laws governing homework, except those laid down by teachers and parents. Just do it.
