No they shouldn't because if that happens then what will the students have to do after school and get their life together for college if there are no sports. This will make the kids want to protest and everyone will be upset if that happens so no sports shouldn't be banned from schools curriculaum.

No, sports are an important part of a child's development. They promote team work, social skills, and health. Not to mention how fat children are getting now a days, sitting around playing video games. If you take away school sports some children may get no exercise whatsoever.

I think that sports actually help a school. Not only in College, but in High School also. God has given many people athletic abilities and that is how He has chosen for them to fulfill their purpose in this life(if they use this ability to bring glory to God). These people have to start in high school and then build on it in college. But, when you look at how many children look up to today's stars, it is important for them to have good role models. So, I really believe that you could say good things about it and bad, depends on how the stars use this fame. But sports also accompany education in that it brings in a lot of income for the schools and it adds variety to the curriculum. I hope this helps.

NO - sports give students the ability to gain extra exercise that they would not normally receive...

It increases their self esteem by knowing that they can accomplish a task that not everybody can do...

It supplies them with an enormous respect and knowledge for team work...

If anything - it should be required of those that are able!

Absolutely not. Sports like many other things in school teach us that by working hard and playing by the rules we can achieve great things.

Sports should always be optional, but some form of physical activity needs to be required. If you are forced to do it young than you are more likely to do it for the remander of your live.

Of course not - athletics teach really valuable lessons like how hard work pays off, team psychology, being a good winner and loser and goal setting. Plus it gets kids butts off the couch.

You don't give any reason for your question, but with the ever-growing problem with obesity, why would you want to take away what little excersize kids are getting?

Give me a good reason why that would be a good thing.
